What's new in PassM8

Studio administrators can now change which days of the week an existing client pass applies to without cancelling or reissuing the pass. You can toggle permitted days directly in the pass editor, and PassM8 automatically records every adjustment with a timestamp in the pass activity history.

Studios can now track staff attribution across client registrations, pass transfers, subscription adjustments, and payment refunds. When enabled in studio settings, team members select who an action should be attributed to directly in the action form, even when working from a shared reception desk or administrator login. Activity timelines and audit logs record both who performed the action and the attributed team member.

Plan student subscription adjustments, rate changes, temporary membership pauses, or scheduled end dates up to a year ahead. The Payments Report provides clear visibility into all payment attempts across customizable date ranges. Studio owners can filter by payment method (credit card or direct debit), track bank settlement dates, review failed charge notices, and export complete payment records to CSV for bookkeeping and reconciliation.

Administrators can now toggle client accounts between Active and Suspended status with a mandatory recorded reason. Suspended clients are immediately blocked from booking classes, checking in at reception kiosks, or purchasing new passes. Reactivating an account restores normal booking privileges immediately while preserving complete history.

When modifying term date ranges, PassM8 automatically reconciles sessions across all term schedules: generating new sessions for extended dates, restoring relevant classes, and warning if existing student bookings will be affected before cancelling out-of-range sessions.

PassM8 can automatically deliver follow-up reminder emails when a client is marked as "Did Not Show" for a reserved class, based on your studio's attendance failure policy. Notifications respect contact preferences and automatically include parent email fallbacks for youth students.

Build customized liability agreements, emergency contact forms, and studio policies directly in PassM8. When you publish a new waiver version, PassM8 automatically prompts returning students to sign the updated agreement during their next class booking or pass purchase.

Studios operating across multiple venues can configure separate locations, assign rooms and default staff, and view location-specific timetables. Each venue receives a dedicated kiosk URL that can be bookmarked on front-desk tablets, showing only the classes and check-ins relevant to that venue.
